Club Information: It has been an impressive six years since the Thunder was established in 2011. Second on the ladder in our first season, premiers in 2012 and undefeated champions in 2013 saw the Thunder promoted to the top AFL women’s competition in Australia. In recent seasons the Thunder has played in Division 1 of the Victorian Women’s Football League. 2015 saw the team miss out on finals by only two games and 2016 new players and older players returned in what was a great year winning every game except for the Grand Final.

Club Information: After a number of successful season competing in the NFL’s junior female competitions, West Preston-Lakeside will field its first senior women’s team in 2017. The club has had great numbers on the training track and is hopeful of fielding two senior women’s teams in its inaugural season.
