Northern Football League

It is with regret that the Northern Knights have informed the Northern Football League of the passing of Knights' Life Member, David Watkins.

David had a long involvement with junior football in the Preston area and was a member of the Knights' Support Staff over the past 15 years.

David took on a wide variety of tasks during his time at the Knights including Property Steward, Timekeeper and Interchange Steward, and the club expressed their appreciation of the wonderful contribution he made for their TAC Cup Squad.

The Northern Football League's thoughts and sincere condolences are with David's family at this very sad time.

Funeral details are expected to be in tomorrow's Herald Sun.
