Northern Football League

The Northern Football League's Junior Presentation Night was held at the Preston City Hall last Friday, the 2nd of October. The night was a celebration of the junior talent from around the league, and Best and Fairest awards were presented in all grades from Under 13s to Under 17s.

The night saw the unveiling of awards named in honour of past junior players who have gone through the league and on to play AFL. While a new concept of the Lew Hall Players Award, which awards a player who has shown exceptional dedication and progression in the Junior Development Program, was also awarded on the night.

The night was MC'ed by Gold 104's, and the region's own, Craig Huggins, with the votes read out by Luke De Vincentis, who hosts the Northern Football League Junior Show on 88.6 Plenty Valley FM.
