Northern Football League

The 2009 Darebin Cup was held at West Preston FC on Tuesday 21st July in windy conditions.  Preston Primary, St Gabriel’s and Holy Name PS all competed for the chance to win the inaugural 2009 Darebin Cup.  The games were played in difficult windy conditions but the skill level and enthusiasm of the participants were outstanding.

The 2009 Whittlesea Cup has been an outstanding success with 11 local Primary Schools entering the round-robin football competition. South Morang Football Club hosted the 11 Primary Schools on Wednesday June 3, and AFL Victoria and the Northern Football League thank Mark, Martyn and Michelle for their hospitality and use of the club's facilities.

Currently the Northern Region has 30 Secondary School Ambassadors and 65 Primary School Ambassadors.
