The Northern Football League's Junior Development Program has kicked of for 2010. Training is every Monday night at Hardiman Reserve on Plenty Road (Melways Ref 18 D4), with some Thursday night sessions also being planned.

The program has grown again over summer, with plenty of fresh faces taking up coaching roles across the Under 14 and 15 squads. The culmination of the program is the AFL Victoria Junior Metropolitan Championships, with three matches played in June.

There is still room for new Junior Development Staff to join, with two exciting positions still available.

Under 15 Squad Manager

The squad manager is the point of contact for all players within the Under 15 squad. This role works closely with all coaches, as well as the Junior Development Coordinator and Football Operations Manager. It is envisaged that the Squad Manager will also act as a specialist coach where the need arises.

Under 14 Head Trainer

The head trainer is responsible for injury prevention and maintenance, and works closely with the Rehab group. This role is perfect for a student or experienced club trainer.

If you would like to join the program, or would like more information on either role, please contact Jarrad Carey on 9435 8228 or via email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
